Emerald Toucanete, Mountain of Silence, Rancho Natuarlista, Costa Rica. It was April 07 when we were in Costa Rica and I have to say it is a bad time of year to be any kind of Toucan. Every one I saw was being harassed, aggressively I might add, by the local nesting population. Most of whom seemed to be various kinds of Flycatchers.
